This is more like a scouting mission rather than escort mission like the mission title suggest. We're tasked to scout ahead and used something as a sign about whether the area was safe or not, and then tasked to cleared off the river bank if we deemed possible. The participating members wass Lin, Neo, Metze, and Liriel. It was a girls only group then.

We rode a nauseating fast cart that was drawn by eight horses. At the end of the ride, found some people getting attacked by weird water-like creature at the riverbank.We have a hard fought battle. I perform really bad at the fight, I feel really ashamed of that. I was dropped unconscious, yet fortunately I could wake up again which I assumed was because of Lin's help. Liriel, Neo, and Metze performed really well, defeating the said creature. Metze was in a bad condition because of the poison from the crab-like creature. Metze fell unconscious and waking up repeatedly due to the poison. Fortunately, Metze managed to be cured from the poison. Let's remind ourselves to stock medicine for poison from now on, as being poisoned is really nasty. At the end of the day, we can clear the riverbank and save those people there..

And then, I had done a big blunder. Due to my bad prejudice, I was afraid that those people we saved will just going to be slaves, so I ask them to go back to their own home before Thalaj comes. But they suddenly disappeared. I felt that one person among them that I talk to, mind-controlled the other people there, and they suddenly vanished out of thin air at a certain blindspot. Lin found out that there are some trace of abberation-like magic.

Later on, we reported the happenings, which made the atmosphere felt tensed up a bit. At that time I suddenly realized, that these whole enslavement are more than meet the eyes.
