Alexei was born as the third son of the house of Vsevolod, one of the Imperial Citizen family in Molthune. The family was more known as a military family due to the environment in Molthune, as most of the member of the family joins the Molthuni Army. Yet, the previledge as a Imperial Citizen blood still experienced by Alexei ever since he was born.

Born into a Imperial Citizen family, Alexei was raised into one. Although his oldest brother will be the next leader of the House after his father, Alexei was required to receive the appropriate education as well. It was hard at first for the soft hearted Alexei, as he's not the tough type boy. Instead of training and studying, he often prefer to play with his mother, and sometimes with his brothers. Yet, happiness never last long. An accident during one of their travel together ends up with the mother died. Leaving Alexei with his brothers and father who rarely show himself due to stationed on the Molthuni Army. As well as a childhood fear of unable to protect the one he care for.

Shocked with the turn of event, the once soft hearted Alexei, turns into a cold hearted one. The once less diligent boy, now focusing more on the training and education given by the House. These training and doctrine from the House ends up making him growing into someone with a powerful ego.

Doesn't take long before Alexei join his brothers and family line to enter the Molthuni Army. With his background, it gets a bit easier to enter at early age. During this time of age, he focuses on his life for the Molthuni Army. Yet, Alexei still remember his mother's word to him, to defend the weak and protect others. So he decided to keep that way, overcome his fear of unable to protect the one he cares for, while still keep his pride as a Molthune Army member. His training and devotion on the military finally cause him stationed on Fort Ramgate of Molthune

During one of his time in the army, during one of the 'patrols' Alexei found one of the Pathfinders who sneaks into Molthune to explore the country's ruins and other mysterious locales. Due to the regulation of Molthune, Pathfinder Society was the enemy of the state. But due to Alexei's curiosity, and his thoughts of not attacking those who aren't evil, and not taking advantage of the situation, he ended up questioning more about the Pathfinder Society, and let the Pathfinder loose. This then become the core for his curiosity of outside world, yet just like the way of life he always hold, you have to follow the law where you stand.

The days in the army doesn't always went nice for Alexei, as he himself often questioned the things around him and felt that there is still more outside Motlhune to see and find out. Yet, as a member of Molthune citizen, he keeps his thought for himself.

But everything change when the event of Ramgate Massacre occurs. The thought he kept all this time suddenly went out, as he questioned the leader's decision on the event. 'Tired' and 'bored' of seeing war, added with the curiosity of outside world, and to respect the current leader (not to overstepping the authority), Alexei decided to leave Molthune and start his own journey as a travelling mercenary.

Living as a travelling mercenary, Alexei learn to lay low and keep to himself who he really is. Sometimes he travels alone, sometimes he travels with others. He sees everything he can see, and tries things he never try before. Although all, still on the allowable limit by Iomedae's teachings and his own believes.

During his last stop, while he was resting on one of the inn, he found out about Pathfinder Society - Arcadia Recon Charter, and their expedition to Arcadia. Deciding he already see what he wanted to see in this side of the world, he set his path to Kintargo, to join the guild and depart to Arcadia, to see what the new world has for him.
