Introduction
Collaborative Campaign
Arcadia Recon Charter is a collaborative campaign where everyone can take turns in playing or running a session. To maintain setting and campaign coherency, several guides will put heavy emphasis on running sessions as Dungeon Masters (DM).
Pathfinder 2
As a Pathfinder 2 Test-play Campaign, Arcadia Recon Charter takes place in Golarion, specifically in Anchor's End and nearby pseudo-colonies located at Arcadia. The campaign uses Pathfinder 2 as the game system.
Pathfinder Society: Arcadia Recon Charter
Player Characters (PC) are member of Pathfinder Society of Arcadia Recon Charter. This organization or 'guild' acts as the common ground for all PCs. The common guild serves to help in maintaining campaign coherency and consistency.
Independent PC
Although each PC is a member of the same guild, they all just met at the Anchor's End, or during the trip to Arcadia. Each of them is a single independent character; alone and far from home, with no one to back them up, in a brand new world.
Dark Past
The situation of each PC varies. It is encouraged to make the background story hidden from 'public'; the campaign has a guide to write and narrate PC's background story, with the aim to maintain coherency and preventing paradoxes, and to have some rooms for hidden thin red line.
Session and Downtime
Sessions have limited player slots, therefore players who skipped sessions can still participate in the campaign by helping around the (pseudo) Colonies of Anchor's End with Downtime activities. A certain calendar and day system is used to keep everything moves forward in time, preventing time paradoxes.
Epic Arc
Several DMs can participate in a more collaborative project called Epic Arc; a seemingly unconnected matters which might actually contribute to the Grand Finale. These few DMs will have power much greater than the rest, but with great power comes great responsibility.
Your Journey
The Beginning
You were born and raised at some place. You might have a nice memorable past, or might have terrible past. Regardless of that, you have dreams or fears that made you yearn to venture outside, away from your birthplace.
The Sojourn
You left your home for whatever reason, be it good or ill, for better or worse. You ventured and traveled away from home and met a lot of people; allies as well as enemies, who might have slowly shaped your abilities in the life to come.
The New Life
After completed your basic training for a 'full-fledged adventurer', you either were cornered due to certain major event, or found a new greater ambition you want to fulfill. Nevertheless, suddenly you were given the opportunity from a shady figure to help you with your current pinch of ambition: by joining the Pathfinder Society - Arcadia Recon Charter, and to head the city of Kintargo for a certain Ship that will bring you crossing an ocean thousand miles away. You found that this is an opportunity too good to pass. Or maybe the desperation made you to take the chance.
Background Story
The background story of PC may be written in narrative descriptive texts. It should be divided into appropriate `Region`, and each part must be submitted to respective `Dedicated DM` who owns that `Region`. Details especially names, appearance, and features of NPCs should be omitted as it can be adjusted by the Dedicated DM as they see fit. Dedicated DMs have the right to adjust any parts of the Background Story to fit a better narrative.

Anchor's End
Overview
Anchor's End is a Chelish colony in Arcadia. Ships set sail from Kintargo to make the voyage to the distant colony. Anchor's End provides gold and slaves to the Chelish empire. The settlement also exports red and black Arcadian marble back to Cheliax. This marble is favoured by Egorian's noble class and the government, who have begun incorporating the marble in their dwellings and civic buildings. The few surviving residents of its sister colony to the north, Canorus, moved to Anchor's End after an invasion from dark folk and a telgrodradt.
Geography
The city is inhabited by several thousands souls of mixed origins. The winding streets and empty buildings can be found occasionally, mixed with assorted merchants and industry. Inns can be found at the harbor area, while taverns are scattered throughout the city. There are compounds or large area owned by private company who has special privilege to establish their own laws inside the compound.
Culture
Despite Hell Knights of Asmodeus from Order of Tenacious Lament oversee the general order of the city, Anchor's End is quite a cosmopolitan. However, the Hell Knights are more cautious especially for possibilities of destructive rebels and especially those who will go against the law to disrupt others or free the slaves. This peculiar order is actually has many knights who are borderline heretical in Asmodeus way due to their neutrality and good-mannerism.

Character Creation
General Guideline
Arcadia Recon Charter campaign does not have any specific house rules regarding character creation and about the general setting of Golarion, except parts regarding Arcadia. Pathfinder 2 Core Rulebook is sufficient to create the character according to PF2 rules. However it is player's responsibility to create a PC who is willing to cooperate, and respect to consent of others.
Creation Rules
You cannot roll for ability scores for this campaign. Please follow the guide fully according to the Pathfinder 2 Core Rulebook in creating characters.
Obscure Subraces/Ethnicity
You can have Golarion ethnicity that is not listed in the Core Rulebook (such as Human Galtan or Cheliax, Arctic Elf, etc.) for story and appearance purposes only.
Character Sheet Maintenance
You are responsible for proper updating your character sheet, and putting it in public space (Forum). Everyone has the right to audit any character sheet, and to remind in case some error is found.
Setting Fitness
For Golarion setting, please feel free to check the link of Pathfinder Wiki. If you can have some access to resources from Paizo Publishing, it is recommended to take a look at these books as well regarding the lore and setting (in the order of reading easiness): Inner Sea Primer, Gazetteer, Inner Sea World Guide. PF2 world guide will be the main resource for lore if you can access them as well.
Background Story
Please create a background story for your character that is proper to Golarion setting, and proper for a 1st level adventurer. Please also implement the YOUR JOURNEY, but you can interpret or adapt several details if you want to. Please consult the respective Dedicated DM for any events of the background story happened in their Region; the Dedicated DM may adjust, adapt, or revise your background story as well.
